July 5th. Word is up that Linkin Park have directed a third video from their latest CD Meteora. What song it is for is unknown. The only thing we know is that Joe Hahn directed the video.(But what I've found out is that it's going to be Numb... Shhh! You didn't hear it from me!)
Linkin Park will be appearing on the MTV2 show called "Linkin Park's How 2 Tycoon." The 30 minute program will be hosted by Linkin Park, and will feature videos from the MTV's on-line Fantasy Music Tycoon. It will be aired on Monday, July 14th at 5:30pm Eastern Time on MTV2, then repeated on Thursday, July 17th at 1:00 am Eastern Time.
LP.com has launched a brand new "Faint Player". The player has 6 Linkin Park FAINT Trading Cards, each one corresponding to a band member. The trading cards feature the Faint video, a behind-the-scenes video shoot clip of each band member, as well their personal take on the Faint video shoot experience. Each of the 6 cards are now online featuring the Faint music video, behind-the-scenes video footage, quotes from the band members, and buddy icons. Linkin Park has been confirmed to perform at this year's Livid Festival in Australia. The festival features five stages of music from artists including Linkin Park, The White Stripes, The Living End, Jurassic 5, Black Rebel Motorcycle, The Roots, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Frenzal Rhomb, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, etc.Linkin Park's "Meteora" has slipped two spots from #15 to #17 in it's fourteenth week on the Billboard Top 100 charts, after climbing six spots from #21 last week. "Meteora"'s first single, "Somewhere I Belong" is beginning it's descent down the rock charts after nearly four months in the top five. "Somewhere I Belong" fell three spots to #12 on the Modern Rock charts and slipped one place to #6 on the Mainstream Rock charts. "Faint", the second single form "Meteora" is up four spots to #15 on the Mainstream Rock charts and was lifted one spot to #6 on the Modern Rock charts

June 28th. Linkin Parks' Chester Bennington has been out of the hospital for awhile now. They are having 3 concerts to replace the ones that they had to miss. Poor Chester, a hottie like that should not have gone into a hospital for bad stomache and back problems. Rumor has it....Linkin Park is planning on putting out another DVD in mid-November. Stay tuned for more info!
